About the artwork:

Sometimes you have to just get lost in the moment. The moment of listening to waves as they collide into the shoreline, watching as boats glide by, taking in all the details of everything that surrounds you, including the lighthouse standing on a rocky foundation that jets out into Lake Erie. It's peaceful and time moves slowly. Those were the sights and experiences that I felt when I took reference photos so that I would have something to look at when I painted the Marblehead Lighthouse Coffee Painting. Lighthouses are the beacon that brings a traveller back home from their journey. Through the clear days where the sun glistens as it dances across the water, to the days that bring the heavy storms with waves crashing against the shoreline. That is art for me. It's the thing that lights me up and a way of navigating through not only the beautiful moments, but the difficult ones too. Here's a thought from me to you, allow yourself to go towards the things that light you up in a positive way. Some days are hard, sometimes it will feel like it's not working, other times will be more incredible than you ever could have imagined, but through it all it is worth it. The original painting I completed was created on canvas by drawing in pencil first and then painting with coffee from a local coffee shop in Northeast Ohio.

About the print options:

Available on Museum Etched Fine Art Paper or canvas. The Museum Etched Fine Art Paper Prints are printed on a heavyweight textured paper with a natural white cotton base. All prints are professionally printed with pigment-based inks on archival canvas or paper. The white border on each paper print allows for matting without parts of the image being hidden. I highly recommend considering having a professional frame shop frame the artwork. They will have a selection of matting, frames, and different types of glass to make sure your piece is exactly how you would like it to be.

This is an open edition print that is not numbered or hand signed. This includes the print only, frame and matting are not included. All Fine Art Paper Prints come with white borders that are included in the final size of the print listed. Due to current processing and shipping times please allow up to 5 to 7 business days for distribution.
