Squire's Castle Coffee Painting

About the artwork:

Squire’s Castle is located in Willoughby Hills Ohio, in the North Chagrin Reservation, which is part of the Cleveland Metroparks. All that remains of this beautiful architecture is the foundation and exterior structure, the inside is exposed. I love how a place can mean so many different things to the people that have experienced them in one way or another. As I posted progress videos online while I was working on this painting, from October 2022 through the beginning of April 2023, I received messages from people with memories of being at Squire’s Castle. There were multiple people who said they were married at the castle and their words painted a picture of what their beautiful day was like. Some have mentioned that they grew up close to the castle and it reminds them of home. Others stop by often and love to visit during the different seasons throughout the year. Landmarks are more than places, they build memories.

About the print options:

All prints are professionally printed with pigment-based inks on archival canvas or paper. The white border on each paper print allows for matting without parts of the image being hidden. I highly recommend considering having a professional frame shop frame the artwork. They will have a selection of matting, frames, and different types of glass to make sure your piece is exactly how you would like it to be.
